Concealed Carry Training
Our concealed weapons permit course is specifically designed for individuals applying for a concealed carry weapons (CCW) permit through the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. As an approved CCW training provider for the County, we proudly offer comprehensive weekend-only training sessions to accommodate your schedule.
Initial 8-hour course
This class is for students whose initial CCW application was submitted before Jan 1, 2024.
Initial 16-hour course
This class is for students whose initial CCW application was submitted after Dec 31, 2023.
8-hour renewal
This state-mandated renewal class is designed for those renewing their San Diego County, CA, concealed carry weapons (CCW) permit. To complete the course, you will need all firearms you intend to list on your permit, along with 100 rounds for the first firearm and 50 rounds for each additional firearm. You must bring a valid California driver’s license, and the first two firearms are included in the course fee, with a $25 charge for each additional firearm. All firearms must be registered to you in California.
